Caring for your child after the brit milah is a fairly simple and straightforward task. Simply follow the instructions below. 

• Please leave the diaper on for a minimum of two hours after the procedure.
  
• At the first diaper change, you may notice some brown spots or slight blood-stained gauze, this is okay. If you are at all concerned please contact me.
  
• Every time you change your son's diaper, you can rinse the site with water wrung out from a warm wash cloth. Gently pat dry.
  
• Place a gauze with Vaseline on it between him and his diaper until the site seems healed. This should take approximately three days.
